Proof Time
You will receive your proof 2 business days after we receive all your information and payment.
Production Time
Production time is approximately 10 - 15 business days. Production begins the day after you approve your proof and does not include time in transit for shipping. If your notepads are in production during any of the following holidays, please add one business day for each holiday: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
Add 2 extra business days for notepads with magnets that we at Layton Notepads apply.
Shipping Time
Notepads normally take 2 - 5 business days to ship, subject to weather conditions and shipping carriers’ schedule.
What does my free set-up include?
Free set-up includes placing your picture and logo on your notepad, typesetting your information and emailing you up to 2 proofs. Additional proofs are $30.00 per proof. If you need a logo designed or if you want alterations made to your picture (e.g., remove glasses, remove light glare from glasses, remove or soften wrinkles, remove moles or scars, remove a second person from a photograph or alter the background of a photograph), please email us your picture and we will give you a price quote to make the alterations you desire.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes, you can cancel your order before you approve your proof. Once you approve your proof and we begin printing you cannot cancel your order. If you already received a proof from us a $50 fee will assessed.
What are the requirements for my photograph?
You will be happiest with your notepads if you provide us a high-quality digital photography that is 350KB (kilobytes) or larger. If you order online, please attach your photograph with your order. If you order via the phone, please email your photo to Images@LaytonNotepads.com. After we receive your photo, if the resolution or quality of your photo is unusable, we will contact you and ask you to submit a better photo.
Do you have my logo on file?
We have many real estate companies and associated industry logos on file. If you are unsure if we have your company logo on file, please call us at 1-800-655-4858. If we do not have your logo on file, please email a high-quality logo to Images@LaytonNotepads.com.
Can Layton Notepads design a logo for me?
We have a talented staff of graphic designers capable of designing a logo to meet your individual needs. The cost for this service varies, and is based on the amount of time required to create your logo to your specifications. Please call for additional details and pricing.
How do I pay for my order?
All orders are processed on a pre-paid basis. If you order online, you will submit your credit card information with your order. If you order by phone, we will take your credit card information over the phone. In either case, we will charge your credit card in full before any work begins. For your security, we process all credit card payments using First Data Global encryption & tokenization technology and we do not keep any credit card information on file.
Are there guidelines I should be aware of when submitting my order?
By submitting an order, you are representing to us that you have the right to authorize us to reproduce any photographs, logos, trademarks, service marks or any other material you request, and that doing so will not cause us to infringe upon any trademarks, copyrights or other rights of persons in regard to those items. Before we begin designing your work, you are responsible for informing us of any state laws or company regulations regarding the size, position, colors or any other specifics regarding your company logo or any other pertinent information about the notepads we are printing for you.
Anything that Layton Notepads designs and/or prints may be used in our promotions, sales kits, website or any other advertising.
You do not have title, ownership or rights to use any of the typesetting, artwork, designs or pictures that Layton Notepads develops or prints for you, including pictures of yourself that we color correct. You do not have the right to use any of Layton Notepad’s backgrounds for anything other than notepads that Layton Notepads prints for you.
Notepad Group Orders
Group Order Requirements
By the cut-off date you set for your office, all agents ordering together from your office will do the following:
1. Fill out the order form and email or fax it to us, and
2. Email their photo to us.
Group Order Cut-Off Date
The contact person for the Group Order in your office will set a cut-off date. The contact person will tell us and each agent in your office that cut-off date. After that cut-off date, we will stop accepting orders from agents to be added to the Group Order. If you choose to extend your cut-off date, the contact person in your office will notify us and each agent in your office, of the new cut-off date. Orders will be processed after group's cut-off date and once we receive each individual's information and payment. We must process, print, and ship all group orders together to the same address. If you choose to organize another group order after your first group order, please notify us of the cut-off date.
Production Time
Once we receive each agent's information and photo, and after the cut-off date, we will process payment for all the orders in the group. After each order has been processed, we will begin typesetting each order. Two (2) business days after the last agent's order has been processed, we will email a proof to each agent. Two (2) weeks after the last agent in the group approves his/her proof, the notepads will be shipped from our plant or will be ready for LOCAL PICKUP at our La Verne, CA facility.
Local Pickup
There is no shipping charge if you choose to pick up your notepads. Our LOCAL PICKUP hours at our La Verne, CA facility are Monday - Friday from 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM. Please call us in advance before picking up your notepads.
Business Cards and Postcards
Design and Color Proof: Approximately 2 Business Days - All new orders and all orders with any changes require a proof. Exact reorders with NO changes do not require a proof and go directly to printing. We will email you your proof approximately 2 business days after the date we receive the last of your materials, including your complete payment.
Printed and Shipped: Approximately 5 Business Days - Your order will be printed and ready to ship from our plant approximately 5 business days after the date we receive your approved proof. LOCAL PICKUPS at our La Verne, CA facility will be ready from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. the 5th business day.
Holidays: Add 2 business days if your order is in our plant during any of the following holidays: New Year's Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
Local Pickup
As of January 1st, 2016, All LOCAL PICKUPS at our La Verne, CA facility must be picked up within 2 weeks of job completion.
Color Match
Because of the different settings on computer monitors, the colors on your emailed proof are not an exact representation of the colors to be printed on your notepads. Furthermore, because our notepads are printed on uncoated paper (so your customers can easily write on the sheets) your picture and logo colors won’t match your picture and logo colors printed on coated papers, like business cards and postcards.
Promos & Coupons
Promotions and coupons offered at Layton Notepads are subject to availability and may be limited to specific terms. Shipping and California sales tax may apply. Coupons cannot be combined with other offers. Promos and coupons are not valid for group orders. Gift card promotions will be sent once the order is complete and has shipped from our plant. Gift cards cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash value. Promotions and coupons are valid only for new orders and cannot be applied to existing orders. Please refer to the specific coupon offer for additional details.
